Early Years Business Support
Working with childcare providers from all sectors across Plymouth, the Early Years Business Support Service has been funded by Plymouth City Council to deliver the service until 30th September 2011.
The Early Years Business Support team contribute to the overall sustainability of childcare settings by providing advice, guidance and training. They can support providers to produce business plans, cashflow forecasts and set budgets.
They can help providers assess and increase their sustainability through the use of business Health Checks and Action Plans.
The Business Support Team can offer support and guidance on:
- Sustainability issues
- Funding (Internal and External)
- Business Plans
- Market Research
- Developing / Opening new places
- Developing a Marketing Strategy
- Developing fundraising skills
Funding
The Business Support team can also guide and support settings to apply for internal and external funding. New Places and Sustainability funding applications are coordinated by the Business Support Officer. Applications can be obtained by contacting Jayne Rule on 01752Â 856725 or jrule@routeways.org.uk.
Training
The Business Support Team are currently offering 2 training sessions per term.
- Writing your business plan
- Writing funding bids
Both courses are run at the Routeways Centre from 9:30 – 12:30. Please consult with the All Children First Training Programme for more details.
