Short Breaks and Respite for Disabled Children & Young People.

Beckly is a Routeways project where disabled children and young people can enjoy positive and inclusive fun social activities in a friendly, caring and supportive environment at our accessible premises located in beautiful Radford Park, Plymstock.

Regular weekend and evening activities throughout the year with additional weekday activities during all school holidays offering opportunities to join in small groups with a wide range of play, social and practical activities both at Beckly and in the wider community.

We are able to cater for a broad spectrum of additional or special requirements, disabilities and conditions. Services provided can include personal care and one to one support for children and young people ages from 6 upwards.

The Beckly Centre is registered with OFSTED, which means we are able to accept young people aged from 6 upwards.

14 - 25 Youth Group in Beckly and Devonport Park Activity Centre

Youth Club

For young people with a disability from 14 - 25 offering trips out, social opportunities, on-site activities (movie nights, games night, disco, recycled fashion shows, pamper sessions)

When: Every Thursday (7pm - 9pm) - (alternate weeks at the Beckly Centre and Devonport Park Activity Centre)

Cost: Free per session (sessions are currently funded through the SEND Innovation)

Radford Rascals 

After school sessions for children with disabilties aged 5 years to 8 years supporting children to build positive relationships between peers and adults. 

This project is part of Plymouth City Council’s support services for disabled children. Access to the project is managed through Plymouth City Council Social Care.

When: Term-time Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 3.30 - 5.30
