Vacancy for Play Worker - Beckly Centre

We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic person to be a worker for our Activities Programme which runs during term time and school holidays throughout the year, working with and for disabled children and young people.

 

The job will cover sessions by agreement during evenings, weekends and school holidays to help and oversee operational requirements.  This will involve hands on work during recreational sessions, which forms part of the Beckly programme at our Centre at Plymstock.  You could also be needed for local community events and for trips / outings.

 

Needed:       

Qualification - NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Youth Work/Playwork or similar
Experience of working with children and young people         

Flexible in attitude and approach to working environment

Team worker

                

Rate of pay:             £6.25 per hour

An enhanced CRB check and work/personal references will be required

Vacancy for Project Lead Worker - Beckly Centre

We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic person to be a session lead worker for our Activities Programme which runs during term time and school holidays throughout the year, working with and for disabled children and young people.

 

The job will cover sessions by agreement during evening, weekends and school holidays to help the Centre Manager lead sessional activities.  This will involve hands on in leading work during recreational sessions, which forms part of the Beckly programme at our Centre at Plymstock.  You could also be needed for local community events and for trips / outings.

 

Needed:       

Qualification - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Youth Work/Playwork or similar
Experience of working with children and young people         

Flexible in attitude and approach to working environment

Team worker

                

Rate of pay:             £8.00 per hour

An enhanced CRB check and work/personal references will be required
