New Project for Plymouth 'Parents Apart'

Separating parents have a complex range of practical and emotional issues to resolve following separation. These issues are usually intricately linked and require practical coordinated support for both parents and their children. A collaboration of third and statutory sector organisations have been awarded a contract from the Department for Children Schools and Families to deliver a pilot project in Plymouth. This will test, through practical means, how best to co-ordinate local services to minimise the negative impact of separation on children’s outcomes.
