Play Worker

Beckly Centre, Plymstock

We are looking for a flexible, keen and enthusiastic person as a play worker for our Activities Programme  who wants to work with and for disabled children and young people to support their participation and inclusion  in positive social activities


The job will involve hands on work during recreational sessions, which forms part of the Beckly programme at our Centre at Plymstock. or  for local community events and for trips / outings and is to  cover activity sessions on a variable hours basis during evenings, weekends and school holidays throughout the year to cover Beckly's operational requirements. 



Qualification - NV Level 2 or equivalent in Youth Work/ Playwork /Child Care or similar
Experience of working with children and young people     

Flexible in attitude and approach to working environment

Team worker


Rate of pay:             £6.25 per hour

An enhanced CRB check and work/personal references will be required
