Services for Over 18s
Routeways offer care services for young people with complex needs as they transition into adult social care, as well as a safe-space social group for adults.
Our adult social group also offers an opportunity for adults with additional needs to meet regularly with friends in a safe and welcoming environment.
Over 18’s Complex Care
Adventure Breaks provides short break activities for children and young people aged between 8 to 18 with complex additional needs.
Adventure activities are offered including moorland walking, rock climbing, canoeing, gorge walking, paddle boarding, orienteering, fire lighting and den building. The provision aims to encourage independence and develop life skills.
The Adventure Break groups meet at Devonport Park every Saturday and Thursday/ Fridays during school holidays, 10:30am-3:30pm. A referral is needed from the local authority as part of a funded support package.

Short breaks offer families additional support during school holidays as well as developing new skills and relationships for the young people. Activities are focused around outdoor and adventure activities.
Direct Access Short Breaks meet at Devonport Park Activity Centre on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays (During school holidays). Each session costs £15 per person.
Routes To Grow
Routes to Grow offers a safe space for individuals of all ages who may be at risk of social isolation and loneliness.
The project focuses on hands-on activities utilising greenhouse space, polytunnels and raised beds. Our gardener guides the sessions towards development of the space for service users, cultivation of produce and growth of plants. Staff are on hand for practical mental health support in an informal and relaxed setting to listen, support and signpost to additional help as required.
Routes to Grow is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-3pm at our Devonport Park Activity Centre. It is free to attend.
