June Highlights at Routeways

June Highlights at Routeways: Museums, Pizza, and Flower Power!

June has been a busy and brilliant month at Routeways, full of fun, learning, and creativity for the young people in our sessions.

We kicked things off with a fascinating visit to The Box, Plymouth’s natural history museum, where everyone enjoyed exploring local history, art, and marine life exhibits. Not long after, we headed off on another exciting adventure — a trip to the aquarium! The underwater world really captured our imaginations and sparked loads of great questions and conversations.

Back at the youth club, we got creative in the kitchen with a pizza-making session. The young people loved designing their own toppings, working together to cook, and of course, tucking into their delicious homemade meals.

We also made the most of the sunshine with ice creams by the seafront — a perfect way to relax and enjoy the start of summer!

One of our favourite quieter moments this month was flower picking in our garden. The young people collected colourful blooms to make their very own bouquets, learning about different flowers and expressing their creativity in the process.

It’s been a fantastic month of connection, exploration, and fun. We’re so proud of everyone who took part — bring on July!
